About Alex

There really isn't much to say. I have been completely in love with music ever since I was younger when my dad had played Dido and all of his favorites in the car on trips. Going back and listening to that music is a comfort to me. I enjoy riding my bike, running, and anything that has to do with exercising. My goal in life is to be in the military. Actually I already know I will be. I have played the piano since I was eight, but only really started getting into it and teaching myself more about two years ago. That's when I began teaching myself to sight read. I have done summer bands for two years now with Mike and this last summer he let me preform my song, "Who Said So...(Idiot)" I have learned so much about accompanying with my choir teacher, Mrs. Wadley my ninth grade year. She gave me the experience of playing for the choir and taught me so much about staying in time. Especially while playing the "Hallelujah Chorus" Wadley gave me the choice to back out of it the day of the performance's if I wanted, but there was something in achieving something so hard for me, I really wanted her to know I could do it. That was an experience of a lifetime for me. I am so grateful for that lady. My friends have also taught me so much. By listening and giving me positive influences for me and my music, I have been able to be lifted up and brought to a different stage of confidence.
